Mid-Season Greenhouse
We raise a variety of vegetables and fruits in our oceanfront garden. . .
We have apples, plums, peaches, cherries, gooseberries, raspberries, strawberries, rhubarb, red and black currants planted in our coastal garden. We grow potatoes, tomatoes, corn, onions, Egyptian onions, garlic, summer and winter squash, cabbage, kale, Chinese greens, lettuce, arugula, spinach, chard, various types of peas and beans, asparagus, globe artichokes, Jersusalem artichokes, sunflowers and various herbs. In our greenhouse we raise basil, peppers, tomatoes and cucumbers. We have had limited success here with melons because of cold climate and carrots because of rust fly.
